I am the seventh youngest of nine children. I spent most of my first decade in Ireland and the subsequent ones in the US. I started my art career carving cardboard boxes with a steak knife at a very early age. I made fabulous doll houses and branched into garages with shuttered windows and ramps. I didn’t do much after that but took up art in High School (mandatory art or music and since I apparently am tone deaf I choose a crafts class). I excelled at papier mache ornaments. My art teacher thought I was fabulous and encouraged me to go to art school. And here I am today.
